What MakeAVacation is

MakeAVacation is a free trip-planning tool. We aggregate publicly available travel information (stays, flights, trains, campsites, weather, food, rental-car locations, cruises) and link out to third-party sites where bookings actually happen.

Bookings happen elsewhere

Except where explicitly stated, reservations and purchases are completed on third-party sites (Recreation.gov, Booking.com, Airbnb, Kayak, Amtrak, airline sites, cruise lines, and similar). Those transactions are governed by the third party's terms, not ours. The on-site flight card checkout is currently a demo (sandbox) and does not issue real tickets.

Information accuracy

Travel data changes constantly. Prices, availability, schedules, distances, and place details are provided "as is" from our data sources and may be outdated or incomplete — always confirm details with the provider before you travel. Photos on stay and car-rental cards are representative stock imagery, not photos of the specific property, unless labeled otherwise.

Accounts

You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the service.

Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions that support the site's operation and are not payments for goods or services. They are processed by Stripe or PayPal.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeAVacation is not liable for losses arising from reliance on aggregated travel information or from third-party bookings. The service is provided "as is" without warranties.
